Bill Bouse, Executive Producer, Director, Writer

A veteran with over 25 years of experience in the direct-to-consumer field, President and Executive Producer Bill Bouse has been “directing and producing” since he discovered the family 8mm home movie camera when he was about eight years old.
At fifteen, he took a television production class, and it was there that his interest in television grew… and also where he wrote his first “commercial” as a class assignment.
After high school, Bill attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
Bill was then hired by Script to Screen, Inc. as “assistant to the creative director,” where he learned DRTV from the best in the business. In short order, he worked his way up to Staff Producer.
Moving to NBC.com during the “dot com boom,” he was hired as an Associate Product Manager, helping develop initiatives geared toward streaming video entertainment, then in its infancy.
After the “hard reset” of NBC.com, Bill pivoted back to his DRTV roots, and was hired by Innovative Brands Corporation as Executive Producer and Head of Production. A combination product development, marketing, and production company, Bill was responsible for the production arm, Modern Media, which produced some massive DRTV hits: RevoStyler, Sonic Blade, Back2Life, Scalp Med, TopStyler, among dozens more. The biggest of these was the InStyler, which sold over 10 million units.
After 13.5 years as EP for Modern Media, Bill opted to go independent. First, working with the top-knotch ad agency, HavasEDGE. Then, he joined forces with fellow DRTV production company, Bluereef Productions, Inc., to create short form and online content for powerhouse IdeaVillage Products, Inc. Since then, Bill has produced, directed, and written spots in partnership with Bluereef for the legendary Copper Fit product line, as well as launching the MicroTouch Titanium line, in addition to dozens of other projects for IDV.
With IDV and Bluereef, Bill has consistently enjoyed short form spots in the “DR Metrix Top 20” over the past few years, with many in the Top 10, and several reaching the Number One position.
With his trademark “brand look with DRTV DNA,” Bill is looking forward to working with the right clients, from established brands looking for a more effective direct-to-consumer path, to startups and entrepreneurs with tight budgets and big dreams.
